Double Exposure
Reflection for first image: For this double exposure photo, I took a portrait of my friend Jess with a picture I took of flowers and put them together. Compositionally, these photos relate because they were both in black and white. Also, both these photos relate because both of them involve rain and water. To create this double exposure, I had to enlarge the photograph of the flowers and then make that a new layer. After that, I lowered the opacity to how i wanted it to be then used the eraser tool to erase the edges of the picture to make the shape of the umbrella. Lastly, I saved the image as a jpeg so that the layers would merge into one unified image. These two images combined together create a very interesting photo. The umbrella over the girls face shows that she may be a little shy but the flowers show how she is creative and expresses herself differently than other people.
