Painting with Light Reflection:
One of the photos I took for drawing with light was of my name (last picture). When I took this picture, I put it on a shutter speed of 15 seconds. To create my name with the light, I used a small blue finger light and I drew my name by moving the light around in the shape of my name. When the viewer looks at this photo I think they would be amazed by how I did it because I know that when I first saw it I thought it was the coolest thing.
Motion Reflection:
One of the images that I shot with a fast shutter speed was the first image, To freeze this shot of the umbrella twirling, I used the shutter speed of 1/250. The action that I froze was Jess twirling the umbrella around. I was about 5 feet away from the photo and I took the picture looking directly in front of it. In this photo, there were a couple compositional elements such as the lines in the background and the shapes on the umbrella. I also shot pictures using a slow shutter speed. One of these pictures included the last picture of the umbrella. The shutter speed I used to capture this blurry action was 1/25. The part of this image that shows this blur is the umbrella. The center of the umbrella is focused and then as you go out of the center it gets blurry. While taking this shot, I stood about 5 feet away and took the shot straight on. For this photo, I used the rule of thirds so the umbrella was not right in the middle. I also used shape in the umbrella with the circles.
